NEW YORK — The New York Rangers have recalled forward Mark Scheieman from the Albany Devils.
The club announced Thursday that Scheiemen has been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
He had been sidelined since Oct. 6 with an upper-body injury.
The team’s regular season is scheduled to resume Saturday at Madison Square Garden against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The 29-year-old Scheiemin will wear #31.
He has played in 19 games with the Rangers this season and has one goal and seven points.
He was drafted by the Rangers in the sixth round (159th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
