With her son and a dog on her shoulder, Albertas life in the United States is a little easier these days than it was 20 years ago.
Her parents, who were living in Canada when they lost their jobs, had moved to Florida for a better job.
Her older sister, a recent graduate of a prestigious university, took a job as a secretary at a local hospital.
She said her sister had a hard time keeping up.
She was not as successful as her sister in her field.
So when her sister applied to a job with the Department of Labor, Alberts parents were surprised when they were told she would be the only woman at the top of the job.
“We were like, ‘Oh, our daughter just got a job at the Department,'” said Alberts mother, who asked that her last name not be used.
“She said, ‘I’ve got a sister who works in the hospital.’
I said, that’s crazy, because she was not an accountant.
We’re like, oh, wow.
So we just laughed it off.
She got the job, and we didn’t even know about it.”
In fact, Albers parents were never told about the position until after she applied.
“The only thing that my parents were told about it was that it was a temporary position,” she said.
When Alberths job was offered to her, she took it.
She is now a nurse, a nurse practitioner and a nurse administrator at a private, nonprofit hospital in Florida.
“I am very thankful to have been chosen to be a nurse at the University of Florida,” Albertis mother said.
“Because it allows me to be in the workforce and be able to provide for my family, and I get to go to school, and that is something that I didn’t have the option to do 20 years earlier.”
And while she has been working, Albernts family and friends have been watching her closely.
“It’s been very difficult for my parents,” said Alberttas brother, who is currently working in the private sector.
“They have a hard life and they have a family and they know how hard it is to have that kind of money.
So they would really appreciate the fact that I have the opportunity to help my family.
And it’s something that is very exciting to me. “
This is my dream job.
And it’s something that is very exciting to me.
And I am proud to be the first woman in the country to be accepted into this position.”
For Albertis family, the biggest challenge is trying to keep her busy.
She has a full-time job with a health care company, which she hopes will eventually pay her bills and allow her to have more time with her kids.
She works a few extra hours every day, so she and her kids can play, and she enjoys going to a local sports game.
Alberti, however, is working with a couple of her fellow students, and they plan to do a fundraiser for her job.
When the family was in college, AlBerttis mom was also a nurse and a student.
She loved being able to do what she loved doing.
“There are a lot of women out there, and a lot more who have that opportunity and that drive and the ability to do it,” said her mother.
“So I think there is a lot for me to prove to them, that it’s not about me.
It’s not what I was born with.
It really comes down to who you are and what you have to do.”
For her parents, it is something they would never give up.
“You can’t stop it,” Albernetts mother said, laughing.
“Albertis is an American.
She’s a person.
And you can’t change her.
You can’t just take it away.
It will never leave her.”
