Hunter, an online game that lets you hunt monsters in real time, has announced it will close its hunt service job listings at the end of the month.
The news comes after a string of negative reviews and a series of staff cuts.
The company’s CEO, Chris Gorman, said that he “felt the hunt service needed to be more focused on the customer,” as well as its growth prospects.
He added that the company is also closing its mobile app and moving to a new web platform.
“I want to thank the hunters who have been part of the Hunter family for their dedication, commitment, and love for the game,” he said.
“The hunting community is a community of passionate, passionate people who truly love what Hunter does and we will miss them all.”
The company also said it will “begin to prioritize hiring and retaining new hunters.”
It will be announcing more details about the closure in the coming days.
The Hunt, which launched in 2012, has been used in over 200 million games, according to the company.
